Pecan Banana Muffins… and Healthy Too!
Bananas contain ample amounts of vitamin C and potassium, while pecan nuts are a great source of manganese and copper, which are two minerals that boost overall metabolic health. These minerals have also been shown to prevent high blood pressure. Bananas are high in fiber, which means they will keep you feeling fuller for longer and the nuts are filled with good fats that help support your mental well-being. This can aid in the maintenance of a healthy weight!
These pecan banana muffins are packed with flavour and are so quick to make, taking only 40 minutes overall. These are also a great excuse to make when you have some overripe bananas lying around, and great if you are wanting a change from your usual banana bread that you’ve been baking every weekend (we don’t judge- it’s great).
Add some cinnamon into the mixture and enjoy some extra spicy notes in these perfectly sweet and crunchy muffins. We guarantee a tasty muffin experience loaded with lovely unique flavours and textures.
